Yuki Shreds: J Pow Part 3
Blog update from Tom, in #niseko Hokkaido, #japan:
We’ve got some exciting things on the horizon with a rail mission to nearby Kutchan, an epic quarter pipe/bowl set-up with the help of a front-end loader and a couple of stealth rail sessions in the village. So keep your eyes peeled for more Yuki Threads news about some of the best riding that’s being done this season in Japan!
Yuki Shreds: J Pow Part 2
Blog update from Tom, in #niseko Hokkaido, #japan:
We’ve had some epic days so far, with a sick crew of heavy shredders to ride with it’s made a super fun start to the season. We’ve had a couple of trips to Rusutsu, a near by resort that boasts some gnarly terrain. Lapping this place is amazing, hardly anyone around and the people that are, stick to the groomers, making this place amazing for untracked high speed gully runs and tree dodging. The riding in the following edit is at Rusutsu, thanks to the boys for putting in a hard days filming! The gates/peak has been open for about a month now and the lines up there have been deeeep! The park has been legit too. King Park in Hirafu has got a few tabletops, the biggest is a nice 30 footer. There’s also a collection of boxes and rails with a flat down rail, flat rail and down rail. Hanazono Park is dialled, a bunch of booters, biggest at 40 foot and a bunch of jib features for those of us who don’t mind a jib.

So we’re here Japan… and wow did you deliver! To fill everyone in who has not been lucky enough to get over here yet, #niseko Hirafu has had a massive 1,295cm fallen since mid November. With around 2 meters of snow sitting in the village and about 400cm on the hill, the conditions have been all time to say the least. We arrived on the 24th of November and didn’t see a day without snow for over a month!
